some quirks from the yearly musings...

This year so far has been a big one. First, a super congratulations to my partner in crime and his conquering of the evil all consuming depression which he has fought with since his baby brother committed suicide over 10 years ago. That black dog is no more at chateau L-J; all due to Hamish's strength, tenacity and spirit. Yay you hubster!
I've been away agin this year on conference to Barcelona and Cambridge - Cambridge being the most lovely of places, and delightful all the more due the presence of my gorgeous and ridiculously charming nephew Oscar. I am lucky enough to be blessed with a few charming nephews and five adorable and super quirky nieces! Can't wait to see how it pans out...

Iggy started a new school and has settled in fantastically - he's Iggy he plays it cool and is keeping in touch with his kinder buddies as always! His roller disco birthday party was AWESOME! Hamish and I played prom king and queen - in our minds- as we rolled around the rink - however, nobody could knock roller girl Brodziak off her roller perch - she was ROCKIN HOT! Mara gave it a serious go and as expected was awesome - us kids of the 80s - we can skate! Naabi was another queen of the rink - so many queens it was almost a drag party...
