We are still in Japan - the day from hell

So yesterday morning we were rushing to Ikebukuro station and Iggy was feeling quite sick we couldn't get him up that morning and it became a real struggle - the express train came and went to we had to navigate trains all over Tokyo; we got to the airport 40 minutes before our flight but they wouldn't let us on; and there we stand - stuck in Tokyo with not a flight to Europe in sight and Iggy on a drip in the Narita Airport Medical Clninc for severe dehydration.

We have this amazing travel insurance who are hopefully going to ring us today and tell us a time and details for a new flight straight to Austria. God help me I thought I was going to lose my mind at some stages of a very long exhausting day - I was often teary and stressed but we held it tigether with thoughts of tomorrow.

There is still no guaruntee that we will make it to the conference in Vienna - or to Vienna at all but we are hoping and keeping strong together as a family. We came back to Kimi Ryokan where the poeple there welcomed us back like family, so that was nice!

So we will wait today to hear what happens next - but you have to go with it don't you - there's no point stressing out.
