Last night I was the MC for the 15/15 Film Festival, and this year there were 350 guests who attended. And they were of course glad to be there otherwise they would have missed my Napoleon Dynamite dance routine during my introduction. The original is here:

First, I announced that I wasn't going to do a spiel this year on how wonderful short film are in Australia, and how important their impact on filmmakers and the industry, etc, I said 'I'm going to show you, using interpretive dance'. Shit loads of fun I must say, and the audience were so nice about it. Although, the kids (who thankfully stayed the night at auntie Niv's) were keen to be there. No one filmed it - it was a film festival with a room full of film makers and no one had a camera - go figure; anyway I guess it will just have to be immortalised in the minds of the people.
