Gracie's birthday - sweet little darling turns one

A year ago Hamish and I received a call from Adrian, the baby was coming. A greatly anticipated moment by all of us then became sweeter as soon as an adorable, squashed little girl - healthy and sucking was born and introduced.

We couldn't help but cry our eyes out when we met her; the miracle of her overshadowing everyday life and drama, a reminder that this simple pure moment is what it's all about!

I think that's why older people love babies, not just their innocence and their newness and cuteness, byt the reminder of why we live and love it, for the miracles that make our lives special.
